Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 13, 2026

KitQuarter is committed to making every calculator usable by everyone, including people who navigate by keyboard or use screen readers.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is part of our locked design system, so every new calculator inherits the same patterns.

What's in place

  • Every input has a visible label and clear error messages.
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • Full keyboard operability, including the mobile menu and FAQ accordions.
  • Results announced to screen readers via live regions.
  • Errors identified by text and icon — never color alone.
  • Semantic headings (one H1 per page), landmarks and breadcrumb navigation.
  • Responsive layouts that work from small phones to desktops.

Known limitations

As a new site, some older content may not yet meet every criterion. We review accessibility with each release and fix reported issues as a priority.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email contact@kitquarter.com with the page URL and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within two business days.
